ColdFusion & PDF - Improving Your Workflow

Placing an order, or receiving an order for some goods or services can be a long drawn out process involving: completing numerous forms, requiring multiple authorising signatures, providing different personnel with a copy of all the forms, waiting on finance to provide a Purchase Order number and so on. There's nothing good about this process.

With the release of ColdFusion 8, the ability to utilise PDFs in our applications surpassed the ability to simply make web pages printable.

In particular we can now work with PDF forms, and in this session, being presented at both London and Edinburgh, Fuzzy Orange's Andy Allan will show how we can integrate these into our applications and help streamline the workflow process.
