Speaker Announcement: Jason Delmore

Jason was supposed to speak last year but went off to do something more interesting instead. At least, that's what he thought. When the feedback from Scotch '07 filtered back to him he was really annoyed he didn't make it.

So, for 2008 the ColdFusion Product Manager is heading to Edinburgh to speak, mingle and get drunk - it's a conference after all!

Speaker Announcement: Amir Shoval

Marking our 25th speaker for Scotch 2008, we're delighted to have Radview's Amir Shoval on board.

Amir is the VP of Product Management at Radview, who produce Performance and Load Testing software for web applications. Of particular interest is their Load Testing software for Flex

Speaker Announcement: Nick Watson

Nick Watson is Adobe's Technical Account Manager for ColdFusion, Flex and LiveCycle Data Services ES here in Europe, and he's the latest speaker to be announced for Scotch.

Previously Senior Support Engineer, and Senior Consultant for ColdFusion, JRun and Spectra, Nick is bound to know a thing or two.

Speaker Announcement: Luca Mezzalira

We're really going all out to make Scotch the best conference possible, and we believe we are putting together a fantastic speaker line up to cater for everyone.

Today we're delighted to announce Luca Mezzalira, an Italian Flash Platform Developer - we won't hold it against him just because Italy qualified for Euro 2008 instead of Scotland.

A certified developer and instructor, we can expect to see great things in regards mobile devices during his presentation.

The latest speaker to join the ranks for Scotch is Neil Webb, a Flash platform developer / flower arranger / erotic dancer - hey that's what his blog says!

Aside from the local dancing emporium, you may have seen Neil's contributions on Adobe DevNet, ActionScript.org and of course his blog.

Toby is a certified ColdFusion and Flex instructor based out of Melbourne, Australia. He performs magic tricks from time to time as well.

The man behind Bender, the open source Flex-to-TransferORM adapter, no not the robot, he know s a thing or two about CF and Flex. Come here him wax lyrical at Scotch.

Speaker Announcement: Andrew Shorten

As part of the Platform Evangelist team at Adobe, Andrew talks to a wide variety of clients on RIA; Flex, Flash and AIR.

At Scotch, Andrew will be speaking on AIR, as well as giving an introduction to the LiveCycle Enterprise Suite.

Speaker Announcement: Adam Lehman

A huge success at Scotch 07, Adobe's Adam Lehman will be making the trek back to Edinburgh for Scotch 08 to talk all things CF.

Adam is a CF specialist, and if I remember correctly, bought quite a few rounds of drink when he was here last. Now, who can argue with that!

Speaker Announcement: Doug Schmidt

Pirate wannabe Doug Schmidt is the latest name to be added to the speaker roster for Scotch on the Rocks.

Doug is a software developer at effectiveui, and is obviously an RIA junky.

The Scotch 2008 speaker list just keeps growing, and we're delighted to announce Kai Koenig as the latest to join the ranks.

A German living in New Zealand, Kai is an Adobe Certified Master Instructor and is more well know as Agent K of Blog in Black
