Scotch on the Rocks (SOTR) has been running since 2005, making it Europe's longest running ColdFusion based conference. The event's long-held focus on bringing together world-class presentations coupled with a commitment to ensure the conference is as economical and widely accessible as possible.
This pragmatic approach, with the focus on leading content, has seen Scotch on the Rocks become a must-attend event for Europe's ColdFusion developers.
History
Originally based in Edinburgh, SOTR has run in many forms and in many locations. From the early conferences in Scotland to later events in London, SOTR has adapted to meet the changing demands of the community. Notably in 2009, due to the economic downturn, 'Scotch on the Road' replaced the annual single-city conference, allowing 600 developers from Edinburgh, Manchester, Munich, Zurich, Milan, Amsterdam, Brussels and London to continue to take advantage of this important community event.
In 2010, SOTR was held in London, attracting over 170 developers who came to hear from some of the industry's leading names.
SOTR in 2011
This year sees SOTR return to it's 'spiritual home' in Edinburgh, Scotland, and, once again, we have worked to put together an event full of content that will continue to excite and inspire.
